For the purpose of this policy, the following definitions apply:
1.1 Insurer – Pacific Insurance Brokers (E.A) Limited, a company duly registered under the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya.
1.2 Policyholder – The individual or legal entity that has entered into a motor insurance contract with the insurer.
1.3 Insured Vehicle – The motor vehicle specifically covered under this policy as described in the insurance certificate or policy schedule.
1.4 Premium – The amount payable by the policyholder to the insurer as consideration for the insurance coverage.
1.5 Coverage Period – The duration for which the insurance policy remains in force, as specified in the policy document.
1.6 Insured Risks – The perils covered under this policy, including but not limited to accidents, theft, fire, and third-party liabilities, as detailed in the policy document.
2.1 This policy provides indemnity against loss or damage to the insured vehicle arising from:

2.3 Where applicable, additional benefits such as roadside assistance, towing services, and emergency repairs may be included in the coverage.
This policy does not cover the following:
3.1 Damage or loss resulting from the policyholder's negligence, reckless driving, or operation of the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3.2 Mechanical or electrical failure, normal wear and tear, or depreciation of the insured vehicle.
3.3 Any damage or loss incurred while the insured vehicle is being used for unlawful activities, unauthorized racing, or competitive events.
3.4 Modifications to the vehicle that have not been disclosed to and approved by the insurer.
3.5 Loss or damage occurring outside the geographical limits specified in the policy.
4.1 The policyholder is required to pay the full premium before the insurance cover takes effect.
4.2 Failure to remit premium payments on time may result in policy suspension or cancellation.
4.3 Policy renewal is subject to review and may require the submission of updated vehicle inspection reports or other relevant documents.
5.1 In the event of an accident, theft, or any other insured incident, the policyholder must notify Pacific Insurance Brokers (E.A) Limited immediately.
5.2 A formal claim must be submitted along with supporting documents, including:

5.4 Any attempt to submit fraudulent claims will result in immediate policy termination and may lead to legal action.

7.1 Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved through negotiation or mediation in accordance with the applicable insurance laws in Kenya.
7.2 If an amicable resolution is not reached, the dispute may be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction.
This insurance policy is governed by the insurance laws and regulations of Kenya.
